The latest LEGO Ideas project based on Taylor Swift’s Lover House has disappeared from the current review round list.
Update: VerbalMelon046’sTaylor Swift Lover House has been restored in the first 2025 review, and instead, The Super Robots by BrickOzzy has been removed from the round.
Fan designer VerbalMelon046’sTaylor Swift Lover House became the latest of many Swift-inspired projects to make it past 10,000 supporters earlier this year, but has now disappeared off the list of LEGO Ideas sets in the current review round, bringing the total down to 52. The design page itself is still live, with no indication that it’s been pulled just yet, either in creator or official comments, so it’s unclear whether it’s officially been removed from the review round.
However, it wouldn’t be the first, second, third, or even fourth time that this has happened. Considering that we’ve had a few Taylor Swift-themed sets already, it could be that the LEGO Group has some sort of licensing issue with Taylor Swift’s team that means it’s smoother to remove the set from the review round at this stage – but that’s just speculation for now.
There are various reasons as to why LEGO Ideas projects are not selected to become real LEGO sets, and it’s particularly unclear whether the set has actually been removed or not, as it stands.
