    TimelyCare provides Modesto Junior College students withfree, 24/7 access to virtual mental health and wellness services. No insurance needed. Students can download the app or access services online. Language translation is available on the website.

    A2MEND

    A²MEND is a student support structure that seeks to establish an affirming environment where African American male students and other men of color are able to thrive. The aim is to improve academic success and to develop culturally competent servant student leaders. The charter provide educational, cultural, social and intellectual programs that promote positivity and brotherhood.

    Comunidad is dedicated to representing and generating opportunities for Latinx students through workshops, equity-minded courses, cultural events, and community engagement at MJC.

    Native American Student Support & Success Program (NASSSP)

    The Native American Student Support and Success Program (NASSSP) aims to develop resources and services to enroll, retain and graduate Native American students, as well as engage with local native communities. The goal of the program is to strengthen K-12 pathways to and through the community college system, ensure their educational success, develop leaders and increase the number of mentors to empower future generations.

    Veteran Services offers resources to support veterans and their dependent students, such as assistance with VA benefits and admissions. The VRC is the liaison between veterans or their dependents, and the Department of Veterans Affairs.     The Welcome Center offers a wide array of student services to help new and returning students complete the steps necessary to successfully register for courses.     CalWorks (TANF recipients)

    The support program provides wraparound services to eligible CalWORKs students. To be eligible, students must be receiving TANF/cash aid. The program collaborates with the Stanislaus County Community Services Agency to provide a seamless process and support services including priority registration, counseling, work study opportunities, grants, etc.

    CAMP (Migrant students)

    The College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP) provides access, orientation, academic, retention, personal and financial assistance to entering freshman students from migrant or seasonal farmworker families. CAMP works with MJC campus staff, faculty, student services, and the community to improve educational opportunities for CAMP students.

    Educational Opportunity Program & Services (EOP&S)

    The Extended Opportunity Programs and Services (EOPS) is a support program that provides wrap-around services to students that are economically and financially disadvantaged. EOP&S assists students whose educational and socioeconomic backgrounds might limit their access to higher education or hinder their ability to be academically successful in their college-level studies. Eligible EOPS students receive services essential to academic success including counseling, priority registration, grants, and book vouchers.

    NextUP (Current/former Foster youth)

    The NextUp Program is designed to serve current and/or former foster youth via the EOPS Program at Modesto Junior College. The goal of the program is to increase persistence, retention, and transfer rates among current and/or former foster youth by offering over and above resources and services in the form of NextUp orientation, counseling appointments, book vouchers, grants, meal cards, transportation, technology services and much more.
